The decrease in network service prices is made possible by Oulun Energia Sähköverkko Oy's high security of supply. That security is based on systematic long-term investment in the electricity network, planned and preventive maintenance as well as efficient and rapid fault repair. For our customers, this excellent 99.99% security of supply guarantees a low number of interruptions that remain short.

“We are happy to be in a situation that allow us to serve our customers with almost 100% security of supply coupled with lower prices. The last time we lowered prices was in July 2021,” says Anna Pasma, CEO of Oulun Energia Sähköverkko Oy.

In order to maintain the security of supply, the company will continue to work on the development of the electricity network by building a new network, renovating the old network and improving maintenance and fault management. The high 88% underground cabling rate will maintain low maintenance costs of the overhead power line network, as required by the Electricity Market Act this year and in the coming years.

Oulun Energia Sähköverkko Oy is responsible for electricity distribution for more than 113,000 customers in the city centre of Oulu, Kiiminki, Yli-Ii and Jakkukylä in Ii.
