Oulun Energia Sähköverkko is responsible for the transmission and distribution of electricity for its over 115,000 customers in its distribution network area. In order to ensure reliable electricity distribution, the current, over 4,000-kilometer-long, electricity network will be serviced and renovated in a systematic manner, and new network will also be built as needed. The new collaboration with Elvera will guarantee sufficient resources and strong expertise to carry out the electrical contracting. 

“We are looking forward to the start of a new partnership with Elvera. The agreement is very important to us for the construction, development, and maintenance of the reliability of the electric power network. Our collaboration will also be visible to Oulun Energia Sähköverkko’s customers, for example, in electricity connection work and metering and in fixing fault situations,” states Anna Pasma, managing director of Oulun Energia Sähköverkko Oy.

Elvera, from Mikkeli, is one of the largest network and infrastructure service operators in Finland. According to a press release published by Elvera Oy, the company will open a new office in Oulu around the new year.
