Oulu2026 Culture and Event Support
We take social responsibility of our customers and the environment in the region. We donate to those who do good for the local people.
We want to promote the success of the Oulu2026 year and take part in delivering local cultural experiences.
During the Oulu2026 theme year, we support cultural events organised within our operating area that bring joy and visibility to Oulu. We hope to receive applications already at the beginning of 2026.
Criteria and principles:
- We support local cultural events that take place within Oulun Energia’s operating area in 2026.
- Applications are welcome from cultural operators both within and outside the official Oulu2026 programme.
- One of the key criteria for an event is its significance and impact on the Oulu region.
- The collaboration must provide mutual benefits.
- After the event, we expect a short report from selected partners on the visibility achieved.
- Sponsorship of annual celebrations and other student events is not part of our sponsorship programme.
- We process sponsorship applications four times a year and will inform the contact person of the decision afterwards.
Please note that granting financial support is not automatic; all applications are assessed based on the set criteria and guided by the current budget.
