Supply distribution fee

Standard tariff electricity is suitable for detached houses, apartment buildings, and terraced houses, as well as holiday homes that do not have electric heating and consume less than 10,000 kilowatt hours per year. The fixed fee is staggered according to the fuse size, and the electricity distribution has a static price.

For customers with fuses over 3 x 63 A, we use low-voltage power to supply the network service.

Product Price (VAT 0%) Price (VAT 24%)
Energy 2.27 cents/kWh 2.81 cents/kWh

In addition, the fixed fee according to the main fuse at the location of use

Product Price (VAT 0%) Price (VAT 24%)

Time-of-use electricity

Time-of-use electricity is suitable for electrically heated detached and terraced houses, where electricity is used mainly at night, for example, for heating a water heater, and consumption is more than 10,000 kilowatt hours per year. Electricity metering is based on a daytime/night-time division. The fixed fee is staggered according to the fuse size, and there are two different distibution fees: daytime energy from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., and lower night-time energy from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.

For customers with fuses over 3 x 63 A, we use low-voltage power to supply the network service.

Product Price (VAT 0%) Price (VAT 24%)
Daytime energy, cents/kWh 1.91 2.37
Night-time energy, cents/kWh 1.17 1.45

In addition, the fixed fee according to the main fuse

Seasonal electricity is best suited for customers who mainly use electricity during the summer and consume more than 10,000 kilowatt hours per year. The most typical users of seasonal electricity are service sector companies and farms with, for example, mechanical grain dryers.

Seasonal electricity metering is based on the time division between winter weekday/other times. The fixed fee is staggered according to the fuse size, and there are two different distibution fees: winter weekdays (including Saturdays and holiday eves) from November 1 to March 31 between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m., and other times from November 1 to March 31 between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m., as well as at all times from April 1 to October 31.

For customers with fuses over 3 x 63 A, we use low-voltage power to supply the network service.

Product Price (VAT 0%) Price (VAT 24%)
Winter weekday energy, cents/kWh 2.07 2.57
Energy at other times, cents/kWh 1.39 1.72

In addition, the fixed fee according to the main fuse, EUR/year

Power electricity

For locations of use with fuse sizes greater than 63 A, the network service product is power electricity. The price is fixed and independent of the fuse size. The hourly average of the power consumption is measured and the customer is invoiced using the average of the two hours of the highest levels of actual output used in a 12-month rolling period. The reactive power fee is determined by the highest peak hour of the reactive power of each month. The first 0.16 kVAr of each kW of peak reactive power from each invoicing period will not be charge. Only the reactive power taken from the network is taken into account for the fees.

There are two different distribution fees for power electricity: winter weekdays (including Saturdays and holiday eves) from November 1 to March 31 between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m., and other times from November 1 to March 31 between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m., as well as at all times from April 1 to October 31. On winter weekdays from November 1 to March 31, the actual power measured during the daytime from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. is taken into account in full, and at all other times, only half of the actual power measured is taken into account when calculating the peak actual power.

Generation transmission fee

We charge a network service fee for generation according to the price list when you transmit the electricity you generate into Oulun Energia Sähköverkko Oy's electricity network at a low voltage (0.24 or 0.4 kV) or medium voltage (10 or 20 kV). Input or consumption from the network is charged according to the current electricity network service price list.

The fixed fee will not be charged when both consumption and generation take place at the same location of electricity use. Otherwise, the fixed fee is the same as it is for transmission for the consumption of electricity. The generation transmission fee includes VAT 24%.

*In addition, we charge a power fee for all power plants directly or indirectly connected to the power network that exceed the net power of 1 MW, as determined by Commission Regulation (EU) 543/2013.
